Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes

Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes

Our church has participated in Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes since 2006.  We have a very active group of young people and adults who participate and work with this program.  Lads to Leaders is a program used to help train our young people to serve God.  Individuals can choose from many areas of interest including Speech, Puppets, Debate, Art Says It, Song Leading, Teach to Teach, and much, much more.  We normally kick off every year around the end of September in preparation for the convention which takes place each year on Easter weekend.  Our group attends the convention in Louisville, Kentucky.  For more information about the Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes program, please visit there website at

We had a great time at Lads to Leaders last week in Louisville.  The numbers were back up to 1,000 at the convention this year (14,000 nation wide).  We were all pleased that four of our young men and several adults were also able to attend this year.  Last year - we only had 1 child make the trip.

We wanted to congratulate these young men on their accomplishments and representation of the church.
