It is hard to believe we have completed the year 2023. We met our goal for the year by learning how to follow Jesus better by searching the gospel message through the book of Matthew. We had wonderful lessons centered around our them for 2023 of “Follow Me.”

We are excited about our new theme for 2024 that was introduced last Sunday of “I’m Not Ashamed.”

This year we are going to learn to learn how to not be ashamed to be the Christian that God and Jesus wants us to be through a study of a few books - Romans and 1 & 2 Samuel. Romans 1:16 will be our theme verse. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes...” (NIV)

In 2024, our kids going to Lads to Leaders, Simpson County Youth Camp, and Bible Bowl will also be studying materials from these wonderful books centered around the same theme. We are going to aid them by preaching some lessons from these books as well. Each Wednesday night, different men will enhance our study of these books with lessons from each chapter of the books along with four guest quarterly speakers on specific topics to help us in our walk with God. Our goal as we learn to NOT BE ASHAMED is to enhance discussion and understanding of how we can better stand firm in the faith of God’s word.
